Pesticides Have Been Found In Wine

Category: Food
Problem:
Studies have detected synthetic pesticide residues in conventionally produced wine.
Solution:
Try organic wines!

In the United States, the labeling of organic wines is confusing: there are many wines bearing the label "Made with Organic Grapes" or "Made with Organically Grown Grapes." These are made with certified organic grapes, but may contain added sulfites. A wine can only be labeled "Organic" and bear the USDA Organic logo if it contains no added sulfites. There are relatively few of these no-added-sulfites wines available, because they often have a different taste, and without added sulfites, these wines are very perishable.
